The Supervisor’s Toolkit: Managing Teams with Confidence and Skill

Formerly known as Supervisory Skills meets the everyday challenges supervisors face.

Are you transitioning from a staff position to a supervisory role and seeking new skills to support your growth? Or perhaps you're managing a challenging team and need strategies for handling conflict? Whether you're updating your supervision skills for career development or aiming to lead your team more effectively, this class is for you. Supervisors play a critical role in monitoring compliance, influencing morale, improving workflow, and driving the success of their departments. They are also the talent pool for future leaders.

This program builds on the skills introduced in Developing Great Managers* and provides practical tools to enhance your effectiveness. You'll learn how to write impactful performance evaluations, document effectively, resolve conflicts, conduct successful interviews, hold productive one-on-one meetings, and navigate difficult conversations with confidence. Designed for new and seasoned supervisors alike, this course helps you build the expertise needed to lead with professionalism and empathy.

It is recommended but not required that Developing Great Managers is completed before taking this class.
