Building the Guardrails: AI Policy & Risk Workshop

Description

As credit unions explore new ways to use artificial intelligence, leaders are also facing an important question: How do we put the right guardrails around it?

Designed for credit union executives, C-suite leaders, and board members, this session provides a practical starting point for developing or strengthening your credit union’s approach to AI policy and risk management.

Participants will explore AI risk management best practices and consider how AI is currently being used within their credit union, where potential risks may exist, and what decisions should be addressed through policy and governance.

The session will also walk through a model AI policy developed specifically with credit unions in mind, exploring its key sections and discussing how they may or may not apply to their own organization.

Attendees will leave with a model policy, practical considerations to discuss with leadership and the board, and a stronger foundation for determining what responsible AI use should look like at their credit union.

**Important Note: This is session is designed to be an interactive, workshop style class versus a sit and listen webinar.**
